Binance CEO and Team Attend the First Ever Blockchain Summit in Malta
The country of Malta is leading the cryptocurrencies regulation and blockchain technology being the first nation to issue clear legislation or guidelines on the industry. For promoting the country as a hub for blockchain innovation, the first ever Delta Summit was held in Malta from 3rd to 5th of October in this year. Malta is going to host the event on a yearly basis with the registration for 2019 that’s already open on their site.
Binance Takes Part in the Event
The team from Binance led by Changpeng Zhao, CEO was present at the event. Mr. Zhao, also called as CZ, was the speaker at the event where he urged more blockchain organizations to investigate the possibilities of building up their organizations and operations in Malta.
CZ summarized the concept in a statement –

Helen Hai, Head of Binance-Initiated BCF (Blockchain Charity Foundation) talked about the summit and had this to state –

The Leader of Malta “Hosted a Party”
Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, Malta President, co-hosted a gathering at San Anton Palace with Binance, BCF, and President’s Trust for supporting the use of blockchain technology in battling with poverty.
CZ tweeted regarding the reception as follows –

The team at Binance made a decision to move their operations to Malta after the prohibition of cryptocurrency trading in China at the beginning of this year. They also communicated their plans for expanding globally by setting up shop in Asia, Africa, and Europe.
